MD, MA, PhD, FAAP, Head of Research and Director Maternal Newborn Community Health at AIC  Kijabe Hospital
Dr. Mary Adam is a co-founder of the Africa Consortium for Quality Improvement Research in Frontline Healthcare (ACQUIRE). A trained pediatrician with a PhD in Psychology focusing on Program Evaluation and Research Methods, Dr. Adam has been dedicated to medical education and public health at AIC Kijabe Hospital, Kenya since 2011. She leads research efforts and community health projects, emphasizing quality improvement and human-centered design. Her work has been pivotal in developing rapid cycle quality improvement processes, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Adam is also a Clinical Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University and an esteemed member of the Vanderbilt Institute of Global Health.
