Dr. Lydia Okutoyi, Head of Department for Quality of Care at Kenyatta National Hospital, participated in a panel discussion at the 7th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (HSR 2022) in Bogota, Colombia. The title of the discusion was ‘ UHC Without Quality is Meaningless – Three Years After Seminal Global Quality Reports’.
Other panellists in the session included Herryman Moono, Director of Research and Planning, National Health Insurance Management Authority, Zambia; Matt Henneber, Health Systems Advisor, USAID; Nielson Matthew, WHO Geneva; and Sodzi Sodzi- Tettey Senior Technical Advisor, LHSS, Accra, Ghana who acted as the session moderator.
The session sought to address policy makers, senior healthcare managers, Quality Directors, Quality & Safety Managers/Officers, clinicians, patients and global health practitioners.
