Dr Macharia has been an otolaryngologist (head and neck surgeon) at Kijabe in Kiambu County for five years prior to his appointment to head the hospital. He has over 15 years of experience as a doctor and in business and board management.

Dr. Faith Lelei is the Director of Clinical Services at AIC Kijabe Hospital. After she graduated from the Family Medicine Residency, Dr. Lelei was hired by Kijabe as their Director of Quality Improvement and spearheaded their Covid Response team efforts. Her success has led to her promotion to Director of Clinical Services.

Former CEO, AAR Hospital & AIC Kijabe Hospital

Dr. Ken Muma is the Head of Paediatric Surgery at AIC Kijabe Hospital. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at Kijabe Hospital and AAR Hospital. Dr Muma holds Masters Degrees, in both Bioethics and in Business Administration. He has a passion for teaching and quality improvement.

Share your transformative work in Quality Improvement through an abstract and captivating video evidence.

The abstract should highlight the action for improvement, the data collected, the lessons learnt and the resultant change. The video should be a compelling presentation that brings the story to life. It could incorporate testimonials, before and after scenarios, or any visual elements that communicate the evidence of change.
